This was taken back in April. It is so amazing how much they have changed since then!

It is soo much fun to see Madison and her cousin Kennadee interact! So far, they mostly just poke each other and try to steal the other's toy, but soon, I'm sure they will be really beating the crap out of each other! Who would have thought that two little girls with so much genetically in common could be so different, in both their personalities and their looks.

Madison has been getting around pretty well for awhile now, and the babyproofing has officially begun at the Godown household. It makes me appreciate the days when I could set her down and she would still be there 5 minutes later! But it is so exciting to see her learn new things, and so much fun to see her get excited about it too!

The Move

As most of you know, we recently uprooted from our long-time home, Colorado Springs, and relocated 3 hours away to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Although we were thrilled for Mike to get the opportunity to run his own store, and for me to get to stay home with Madison, it was a tough decision to make. We miss everyone back home dearly, and look forward to our visits to our old hometown.

Cheyenne is a beautiful city, though, and Madison and I go for long walks through their many parks. I also never realized how bad the traffic is in Colorado Springs until I moved here!

We took a little break from unpacking to have some fun. She's such a happy baby! I try to take lots of little video clips during the day, and then Mike and I watch them after he gets home at night, so he doesn't miss moments like this.

First Father's Day

June 15th 2008, Father's Day!

We hung out with Marsha, Kory and the kids for most of the day, just enjoying the sunshine and relaxing. I think Madison looks more and more like him everyday, if that is even possible!

Rolling over

Madison started rolling over at about 4 months. She got pretty good at it pretty quickly, and I can tell she is going to be a hard one to keep up with!
