Vacation!!!

Me and my handsome husband! The building you see behind us is The Chateau, which is where Michael proposed to me five years ago.

Madison meets Great-Granny Agnes for the first time.

We were so glad Mom and Dad got to come up and join us in relaxing for a few days.

She was a natural, of course. She is her daddy's daughter!

We just returned from our annual summer vacation at Tablerock Lake, courtesy of Mom and Dad Godown. We look forward to it all year: ten days of sun, boats, beer, and relaxation. Ahhh...it truly doesn't get much better than this! Madison LOVED the water, and we had a hard time getting her out when it was time to go. She is like a little fish in the water!

It's definitely a boy!!

So we had our big ultrasound today, and it was as we suspected...HE'S a HE! We are thrilled, and even happier that all body parts are present and accounted for and he is just perfect in every way. We even got to see his little face on the 3D ultrasound, and he is a cutie! We are truly blessed. :)

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

For Mother's Day, Madison and I drove down to Springs and joined the Van Burens and the Fuller clan for a day at the zoo, since Mike was working. Madison had soo much fun watching the animals. Her favorite was the Budgie Buddies birdhouse, where they fly all around your head and even land on you. She was so excited! Unfortunately, her nap coincided with our arrival at the petting zoo and children's playground, and she missed getting to hang out with Kenna there. Oh well, next time...
